Error Message - Web Parts Maintenance Page...How do we fix?

S

spatton

We have a Project Web Access User, when trying to access the "My
Tasks" page, receives the following error message:

"Error

An unexpected error has occurred.

Web Parts Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this
page to temporarily close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For
more information, contact your site administrator.

Troubleshoot issues with Windoes SharePoint Services."

All other PWA users are able to access the "My Tasks" page. This user
is our Security Admin to all systems and has full network permissions
(but has standard user permissions on PWA).

We are using MS Project 2007, SP1 - any suggestions?

Thanks

Steve

We have the same error message, but the query didn't return any
assignments...
What can be another reason for this error message?

Possible causes:

Your system is not up to date
The particular user changed the date format for the web part and that user
has tasks that cross a new year boundary.
There may be other types of bad data that cause this. You can try
unpublishing the users task assignments until the problem clears.

Gary, Thanks for your help, but no resource has modified his webparts,
and I don't know what you mean by "your system is not up to date". We
have SP1 and infrastructure update installed.
I will post a new post in this group now, because this is not the
common reason for this error page, and hopefully will still get your
help over there...
Thanks, Gil
