The error message appaire when I try to close Word 2007. The error message
it's very close of the others except the faulting module (my driver of HP
C5280 is newers) and the fault address. You can see the messages error:

Mine : Faulting application winword.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014, stamp
45428028, faulting module hpz3r5ha.dll, version 61.71.244.0, stamp 45f91d42,
debug? 0,
fault address 000467e8.

Travis error : Faulting application winword.exe, version 12.0.4518.1014,

faulting module hpz3r4v2.dll, version 61.63.247.0, stamp 45949947, debug?

fault address 0x00045a98.

Can someone help us to resolve this issue?

Thanks for the help.

It is definitely an HP .dll file. It is probably the printer or may be an HP
scanner?

It is incompatible with Word. You need to get an updated driver and then
delete and reinstall the printer. If you have the latest driver, then you
need to go to HP support for help as it is an HP problem and not a Word
problem.

Hi,

Thanks Terry Farrell. The problems seems to be resolve. I have only remove
HP printer from the list of printers and the problem does'nt appeard yet.
Now I'm not sure of the way that I can reinstalle the default printer C5280.

Thanks for the help.

OK, Comodo Anti-Viruspyware (CAVS) is causing the crash. Uninstall this
application and no more crash, at least for me. :)

OK damn still getting the crash... Though it was fixed for a moment, but that
was something else.

Anyhow still cant get a newer driver out of HP... :( Guess we are stuck with
it at the moment.

And chaning it not to be the default printer does nothing, still crashes...

Hello everyone,

I've found a solution on some boards that might help whom who face that
problem with HP and Vista:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had the same error message. I got this response today from HP. I went
through the entire procedure; so far it appears to work. Note the link is
for my HP c6180 printer, but it may be valid for all the All-In-Ones. Good
Luck!
----------------------
I understand from your mail that 'an application failure' error message
appears after exiting Word 2007. I regret for the inconvenience caused to you
and I will certainly assist you in this regard. I seek your kind cooperation.
This issue could occur be related to startup entries running in the
background. Please perform below steps to isolate the issue:

Disabling HP related files from the Startup:

4.Click continue.
5.Select statup tab.
6.Disable all hp related entries.
7.Restart the computer.
8.Once the computer is restarted, it will show that some startup entries are

right panel contains a list of all services available on the system. Scroll

Many times, every time they blame Microsoft. Then I try and get support from
Microsoft and they blame HP. So you never get anywhere. Neither party wants
to take responsibility.

T

That's rubbish. That error is induced by the HP printer driver. It is a bug
in the HP printer driver. Please report this to HP who probably still won't
fix it. The only solution is to use a different printer driver.

The error in the link you have shown is entirely different: it refers to an
error in mso.dll and not in hpz3r5ha.dll.

I just bought Hp deskjet printer f2120 and suffering with the same
hpz3r5ha.dll problem of conflict between Hp and Word 2007. Plz solve this
problem.. Plz suggest a good and acceptable solution rather than uninstalling
or disabling.. start ups or some others etc.. It is requested to HP or
microsoft officials to provide the solution... or if there's any patch to fix
the problem then let me know abt that...
