Error message when launching MS Office programs: This MSI must be.

Whenever I launch MS Word or Excel, but not Powerpoint or Outlook (MS Office
2003) I get the following error message in a dialog box.

This MSI must be launched through setup.

When I click on OK the dialog dissapears but is replaced by an identical
message. This happens three times, then Word/Excel launches as normal. In the
background is a Installer dialog box, but this diissapears with the third
dialog box whn I click on OK for the last time.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office but still get the problem. :-(
