Error Message When Publishing from FP2000

Lately I have been receiving an error message when I publish to my web
site from FP2000. The error message reads: "An error occurred
accessing your Front Page web files. Authors - if authoring against a
web server, please contact the webmaster for this server's site.
WebMasters - please see the server's system log for more details."

I click OK and the Publish Web dialog box comes up with the proper
location to publish to already highlighted. I click Publish, enter the
Name and Password and everything proceeds normally.

Why am I getting the initial error message?

The web host (Lunarpages) suggests that it is an FP issue based on
their assessment. I posted the problem to their FP forum but have not
received a useful response.

At the suggestion of Lunarpages support, FP extensions were reinstalled
and Zone Alarm was disabled but the error message still comes up.
Testing my network connection through FP affords 5 "yes" responses:
32-Bit Winsock, 127.0.0.1, Host name: Steve, IP address 10.15.3.104 and
localhost (127.0.0.1). FP is set to publish changed pages only.

I should point out that the error message occurs only on the first
attempt to publish. Subsequent attempts during the same session proceed
without a problem.

BTW, Detect and Repair did not eliminate the issue.

Thanks.

Saroman, This problem is featured in your Internet Options on Internet
Explorer or in your firewall. If you have a Norton Internet Security
Firewall, turn it off "Permanently". If that does not help or you have no
Norton Firewall, turn off all Firewalls in your computer (Windows will still
keep you protected.)

Once that is done see that you can still access www.yahoo.com

If you can, try publishing again. If you get the same error, I cannot help
you, sorry, the above is just a previous experience I have had.

Wish you well to fix it!
