error messages after installation of Office 2000

I get error messages after I install Office 2000 on my laptop. I just
recently installed Win98SE and then installe the office suite. I have used
the same CD on my desktop and have no problems. I have also used this CD
before on this same laptop with Win98SE installed, and have had no problems.
I don't know if this problem is because my CD is messed up, or my Win98
installation is messed up. I would appreciate any assistance in this matter.
