error sending email-outlook2002

i get an error message when I try to send an email from
the outbox Task' incoming.verizon.net-sending'
(0x800ccc6e): unknown error 0x800ccc6r

i found nothing on the knowledge base and searched the
entire microsoft.com web page. maybe someone came
accross the same problem.

Please anyone let me know

Did you check with Verizon to make sure your SMTP server config. is correct?
AFAIK, the server is outgoing.verizon.net and you have to authenticate to
it....

What version of Outlook do you have? The error you're getting indicates
that the syntax of an email address is incorrect. Check that all the
recipients in the message have addresses of the form (e-mail address removed) or
similar (there must be at least one period on the right-hand side of the
'@').
