Error synchronizing folder

Can anyone help with offline synchronizing of exchange 2000
and Outlook 2K. Using laptop and when I am offline the folders are not
showing current mail usually 2-3 weeks old mail.
Here is the error message from sync log....

P.S. the web link is useless as a screen door on a submarine! Not even
related or current to the Outlook version I am using. Tried to repair and
also reinstalled OfficeXP still same problem....Ahhh
Please help so I can go home for Christmas as it my bosses computer and
she's leaving for southern holliday soon with the laptop and wants to get
caught up on her emails...

Delete and re-add the .ost file.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Thanks, but that was the first thing I did.
I also tried the repair function, no luck.
Then I tried a reinstall, no luck.
I uninstalled office, then rebooted, then installed again, (NL) No Luck.
Next I tried applying the updates for office, (NL).
Next I am going to attemp to log on from another Laptop and see if it works.

I am begining to feel like I have been there, done that, and am now waiting
for the tee-shirt from Microsoft...(Hint,Hint).
