Error while importing CSV file in Excel.

Hi,

We have an application that generates one CSV file. This CSV file contains
lots of rows (around 15000). We have fields like numbers, dates and text etc.
When we open the CSV file in excel, after certain row count say 3000, errors
are coming in DATE and NUMBER columns. Before 3000 everthing is fine after
this every thing pertaining to DATE and Number columns are showing error.
Rest columns are intact in either side of the row count range. The errors
which I am receiving in the Date and Number fields are mentioned below:

Error #1 - The cell contains a date string represented with only 2 digits
for the year.

Error #2 - The number in the cell is formatted as text or preceded by an
postrophe.

Now, my question is why this erroneous conversion is happening? What is the
root cause behind this and how we can control this with Excel automatically.
In our case we dont' want to do it manually for converting it to the
appropriate type. We need excel to upload data correctly. Please share your
valuable thoughts on this.

Also, we I can get some useful content on this topic then it will be a great
help.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Regards,
Santosh
