Apparently nobody knows how to fix it. I'm having the same friggin problem
and now it also opens whenever I open some of my other applications. It's
getting real old and I can't find anything at Microsoft either that fixes
the problem. I think the TWO of us may be in a league of our own here. If
you find a solution, please let me know and I'll do likewise. I cannot
believe with all of the so called experts here, nobody knows how to fix that
problem. I've even removed Office and reinstalled it and it still happens.

In the meantime I'm using Open Office which I think is a better product and
at least it has thousands of users willing to help you. It's open source, so
you have to be wary of someone slipping in bad code, but so far it's been
clean. Download it at openoffice.org.

Found a solution. Read the posting by Tony Rony on 3.23.08 Subject:
RE:"Please wait while windows configures...'Messag..."
There are also replies that I haven't read yet, but it's a fix.
