I have a spreadsheet were I want to protect the columns
and rows of my header information. I want people to be
able to add rows only. Is there a way to do this? Thanks..

Hi
depends on your Excel version. Excel 2003 has the respective option
under 'Tools - Protection - Protect worksheet'

When you use versions prior to Excel 2003, you will need to create a macro
that user can use to add rows. Put a button on the worksheet the user can
press to trigger the macro. Protect the worksheet and workbook so the user
cannot manually change the structure.

The macro will need to unprotect the workbook, add the row at the selected
row, then reprotect the workbook.

It is not foolproof, but it will provide some protection for the average
user.
