Hi,
I have a client who is using an Excel document that contains
multiple checkboxes. This file works perfectly in the PC environment,
but when I open it in the Mac environment (v.X or 2004), we cannot put
checks the checkboxes. When we move the mouse pointer near the check
box, it become a little hand. I have downloaded some other test
documents that contain checkboxes they have the same issue. Is there
a way to address this and maintain compatibility with the PC. Thanks,
in advance ,for the help.

The checkboxes are ActiveX controls from the Controls Toolbox. ActiveX
is currently Windows-only. In order to be compatible with MacXL, the
checkboxes need to be Forms controls from the Forms toolbar.
