Excel as Database

I have an excel spreadsheet I am using as a database for
a site. My problem is I want to use the Database Editor
ASP Page created in frontpage to WRITE to it. Is this
possible? And if so what permisions and/or settings are
needed to acomplish this. The site is on a Win2000 Adv.
Server running IIS5.0 I created the connection within
frontpage and the output data works fine. But when I try
to use the Data base editor it tells me "Cannot Update
Database"......Please Help!!!
