Excel taking too much time to open (13 min)

Hi guys,

I am using Reporting services 2005.
I have report in which I am using matrix. My need is bit complicated
..So i used three matrix for diffrent subtotals. But the problem is when

we export the reports in to excel of size just 6 MB and try to open
it its taking around 13 min to do so. when I remove this matrix its
working fine.

It will be very help full if somebody guides me on
how to get the Excel opened quickly.
i feel it shouldn't delay what ever the size of the file is ?
I just want an example or web address where I can get an
idea. Please Guys it urgent.

We know that We can use Subtotals for Totals.But as my cell consists of
values which are obtained by Expression .It seems we cant perform
subtotal on the Values obtained by Expressions(The Expression calcuates
Min into Hours :min).

So we used matrix to show totals,count and aggregations.If any one is
aware of the problem what the Excel is causing or the way i am building
the report to show the total.pls help me

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with Excel
