I have a worksheet which contains drop down menus within it. I cannot use
the drop down menus when I click on them they do nothing but on any other
machine they work fine.

Is there a setting that needs to be on to use these?

Change your setting to Medium

Tried this it does not change anything I tried it on a machine where it did
work by setting macro security to very high and it did not lock them down
you cold still use them.

Check your Macro Security under Tools/Macro/Security and on the
Trusted Publishers tab make sure "Trust all installed add-ins and
templates" is turned on.
