Excle link in Powerpoint using IP adrs.

When creating a dynamic link from excel into powerpoint, powerpoint use the
ip adrs of the server. Then I would like to change the ip adrs. of the
server, if I do so all the links will not be working. How do change the ip
apdr. in powerpoint or how do I change it to \\servername\share ?
