EXCLUDE DICT & How to tell WORD that "continuos" is a misspelling

If I'm not mistaken, "continuos' is a misspelling, but my Word 97 thinks it
is.
"Help' talks encouragingly about an "exclude dictionary" , but fails to
explain how to make one.

Technically, "continuos" is a word: it's the plural of "continuo". Of
course, I'd wager that 99.99% of the time, someone who writes
"continuos" probably meant "continuous". I wish there was a way to add
this to Word's "frequently confused words" list. Unfortunately, the
best you can do is create an exclusion list, which is covered in
detail at the following link:
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/ExcludeWordFromDic.htm

(Basically, you need to figure out what your main dictionary file is
called, create a text file with the same name but a different
extension, and save it in the appropriate place. The particulars will
vary depending on OS and Word version/installation method.)
