explain why cut-and-paste backup of an FP site (folder) is risky

Existing FP help says "publish your web to back it up", but does not explain
why this is necessary vs. copying an FP folder and pasing it to another
location like a CD or zip disk. This risks users accidentally losing
FP-extention functionality in a transposed site.

This certainly points up the importance of following instructions!

As to why the Help doesn't explain the reason for this, well, most people
wouldn't understand the reason, and knowing the reason won't help the user
to follow the instructions. Therefore, the reason is irrelevant to
successful operation of the software. Of course, getting humans to follow
instructions is a challenge at best! ;-)

Now, there are those who *do* understand such technical details, and those
details can be found in the Microsoft technical documentation, such as the
MSDN Library (http://msdn.microsoft.com).
