Hello krishna,

Have you tried selecting the field when exporting the data through the
export wizard? File > Save As, select Excel as a file type and follow
the prompts.

You don't say where you want to export the notes. Assuming you want to
export the Notes field to Excel, (a common user choice), you can do that
with a simple export map, (Files/Save As and select Microsoft Excel
Workbook as the file type), or even a simple copy and paste. However, be
aware that a simple export or copy and paste will truncate the notes
text string at either the first line feed or 255 characters, whichever
occurs first.

To avoid the above limitation, you must either use an SQL on Project's
database or a VBA macro. For reference, I have a macro that exports
Project's Notes field to Excel. If you are interested, contact me direct
