Export Tasks & Assignments

Is there a way to link tasks to assignments. I export these into Access and
need to link the two. I can't see a common id number. I added a text field
to the task and really applied to all assignments for that task.

Susan,
Assignments are linked to tasks, that is how they exist. You might want
to go to our MVP website at: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm
and take a look at FAQ 51 - Data Types: Task, Resource and Assignment.
It won't answer your question directly but it will give you some
background on Project's object interrelationships. Then if you still
have a question, post back with more details of how you are doing the
export and what you expect to see.
