Exporting to a PDF

M

Mark Russell

I have a form that I need to print as a PDF. It prints fine as a form (in
InfoPath: File > Print). I downloaded the Export to PDF or XPS plugin, but
the exported PDF comes out as two pages in landscape orientation (the form
is
portrait, and prints from InfoPath as portrait). I have reduced the width
of
all the tables, reduced the margins, and everything else I could think of--I
even removed browser compatibility (I'm grasping at straws here).

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Printing in landscape? That sounds quite strange... have you tried just
using a "PDF Printer" instead? I use this:

http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php

because it's free :) Any PDF printer should do the job though. If your
InfoPath form prints on your printer, it should print to a PDF printer as
well.

Actually I have the same problem as Mark. I fill out a form that has to be
exported to a PDF and sent to our customers. It does exactly as Mark
describes. It looks fine in Info path, prints great but when you export to
PDF it is automatically in landscape mode. Since I have to email the PDF's
to hundreds of clients a month they won't have a PDF printer. Anyone have
any idea why this is happening?
