Exporting to Excel

Is is possible to export Task List to Excel and save the indentations from
Project. I have successfully exported the Tasks but indents are gone. This
will be outrageously tedious to hand indent every week for Exec. summaries.

Hi Sandy,

You can export the Outline Level property and hve a formula in Excel indent
and put the right font.

Jan, that might be something I could do with a little trial and error. Can
you give me a sample of what the formula would look like?

Well this 59 yr olk is learning a lot on new things today, but I think i'm
extremely close. I read your using Project Macros section and was able to
open a module and save the macro sample you provided, even edited out the
phrase as you noted. I open my project, go to Tools, Macros, macros,
highlight TaskHeirachy, click on Run and it starts but bombs at this line:
Dim xlRow As Excel.Range

Jack, Not being one to quit easily I have been able to successfully get this
to run. My first attempt did not save the macro to the specific file I was
in but once I did that following your using Project Macros directions it
worked perfectly. Many thanks!!!!

Hi Sandi in Denver

Here's a workaround that I sometimes use:

Save your file as a web page.
Copy the table and paste it in Excel.
