Extrapolate Age from Birthday using Mailmerge

Mark B

I am exporting a birthday from my database into word to do a mail merge for a
form. Is there any way Word can figure out a person's age as of the current
day based upon the birthday field from the database to merge onto a form?

Thanks!

Hi, Mark B,

There probably is, and it would require some coding.

You might try posting to a mailmerge or programming newsgroup to get more
people who are familiar with automation.

If you want to find out the days you have lived then try:

Format A1 & B1 as dd/mm/yyyy, C1 as General
at A1 enter Birthdate at B1 enter =day(now())&"/"&month(now())&"/"&Year(now)))
at C1 enter =B1-A1
C1 gives days of yor life
