Favorite Folders....really, really need help here

OK guys, this has been a major annoyance and I can't figure out what the problem is.

When I add a folder to my Favorite Folders in OL2003 (XP Pro), every time I shut down OL and open it again the folders that I added are gone...they are not saved. Any idea what this could be?
