Feed back form

Manon

I've created a Feed Back and Confirmation forms using the
templates provided by Front Page 2002. Feed back looks
good on the Web but the results don't make it to my email
and the Confirmation page doesn't show up.
I get a message in preview mode for Feed back that
says "This page contains elements that may need to be
saved or published to preview correctly" and I just can't
figure out what it could be. Can anyone help please? I've
followed the instructions in the book and I've
combed "help" without any luck at all.....
Thank you
Manon

You don't say which Windows OS you're using,
and whether it has PWS or IIS installed.
But to function properly the form must be running
on a server with FrontPage extensions.
Therefore it is quite normal to see the message when previewing
on your local machine.

Can you post a URL so someone can look at the form??

I'm running Windows XP and I really don't know what you
mean by PWS or IIS... I'm using a free web host where I
load my site so I can see it as I work on it. When it's
done I will get a domaine. The address is
http://RVWTrucking.iquebec.com . The site is called
Electric by nature.
Thank you for your help :)

Ok,

In order for forms to work, the web
containing the form *must* be published to
and running on a server that has FrontPage extensions
installed.
The server you are using:
Server: Opsion Web Server 1.0f Unix
Does not have extensions.

If you have Windows XP professional, you can install
the IIS server program and also FrontPage extensions
right on your machine and test it there.
If you have XP Home, you will have to find another server.

Thank you so much Steve ! I appreciate you took the time
to help me. I'll see what I can do about this.
