Hi
Few things you can check,
1. Can you ping the SMTP Server IP from the FPSE/IIS Server box?
2. Can you do a 'Telnet SMTPServerIP 25' to that box?
3. On submitting the form, Check the event viewer for errors.
4. Does the form submit error out?

| no matter what i do i cannot get the feedback form to send
| me email from the intranet. it will not connect to the
| smtp for some reason. the smtp is an internet address and
| the server has internet access. i am at a loss. i have
| followed instructions from kb #305675 that doesnt help me
