Hi,
MS Project 2003 - what is the relationship between the file name
(myproject.mpp) and the 'File\Properties\Summary\Title' line? (text
entry of project descriptor/title)
I've seen two situations occur.
1. The file name is imported into this title and when edited, saved,
closed, reopened, it reverts to the file name.
2. The summary\title can be entered and everything is fine.
Consolidation process:
When linking or inserting files, depending on the scenario above,
either
1. the filename is seen as the rolled up first line of the project or
2. the required summary\title information is seen as the rolled up
first line of the project
I've looked under the Options for settings here but cannot find any
reference.
The only solution to the above problem is to remove anything in the
Summary\Title panel and save, then reopen, edit the Summary\Title
panel and save. When reopened, the link to the filename disappears.
What gives?
Regards
Roger
