Filenames for inserted pictures

Hello,

I'm working in an existing RoboHelp for Word project. There are a ton of
inserted images in the underlying Word file. I need to find out the filenames
associated with each graphic. I've tried selecting the image and press
Shift-F9 to display any field code associated with the image. Nothing
happens, so I'm wondering if these pics were inserted, not linked.

Any help is much appreciated. I've got 250 graphics to deal with and it'll
be miserable if I can't figure this out.

Hope

If no field code displays, there are no links. You can double-check by going
to Edit-->Links. If Links is grayed out, there's no links.

Hi Anne/Hope,

If the picture has been laid out as anything other than 'inline with text',
neither pressing F9 nor using Edit-->Links will tell you whether the file
has been inserted as a link. To conclusively test for linking without
resorting to vba, you need to make sure the pictures are formatted 'inline
with text'.

Thanks to both of you and I apologize for my delayed response! It looks like
the pictures were inserted inline with text (at least, the ones I looked at
were). I do have some links listed in Edit > Links but most of them are
missing. I suspect the missing pics were place directly in the
document...sigh...much manual labor...

Hope
