Filtering resources and creating to do lists in consolidated proje

I want to be able to filter by "using resources" in the GANTT view and create
a To Do list for a number of shared resources in a consolidated project.
However, when I try, the resource list in the message box is empty.

Hello John,
You have to tell the consolidated project to share the resources with the
other projects:
Tools / Resource sharing / Share resources / Use resources from...the same
resource file that the other projects

Hi John,

You may wish to take a look at the thread in this newsgroup from 6
October titled "Using Resource Pool with Master Project" started by
Jgzigler.

If you created a consolidated project by opening the resource pool with
the third option "Open resource pool read-write and all other sharer
files into a new master project file....." the filter dialog does not
show resource names. You may type in the resource name and the filter
functions as expected.
