Find and replace

I use the "find" button quite often. The large box tends to get in the way.
Is there any way to add the find button to the toolbar where it stay out of
my way?

I know how to use the "find" and "replace"--It is the fact that the box
which pops up in the middle of the spreadsheets gets in the way. I am
constantly moving it around. I thought if I could move that box onto a
toolbar (similiar to the font toolbar) it would save a lot of aggravation.
Any suggestions?

Really not much you can do.

However, a lot of people nowadays have humongous monitors, if you have
enough space to 'spare' on your monitor, you could run excel with a normal
(aka: resizable) window. Make enough space either above, below, to the left
or to the right (purely your choice) to have the FIND/REPLACE box in the open
space without covering your file. Then, for as long as you have excel open,
when you press CTRL+F, the find box will appear in the open space and not
cover up your spreadsheet.

Thanks John
Now I know I can quit looking for answers--perhaps that is a feature they
can add?

It's possible. If you look at the find feature in web browsers, nowadays it
just pops up a little bar at the bottom of your browser, completely
unobtrusive.
