Find Outlook mail on old Hard Drive

F

Frank

I had to change my hard drive because of a problem and
now I would like to try and find the email on that old
drive.

The email was NOT backed-up to a .pst file so I'd like to
know if there is any way to import it to my new HD and
Outlook XP.

Thanks for your time and consideration with this matter.

With kind regards,
Frank M.

If the old hard drive is accessible, just search for all files with a .pst
extension - if using WIndows 2000 or XP, ensure that you are searching
hidden and system files.

The .pst file is the default storage for all Outlook items - it does not
depend on archiving or export - it is created when you install Outlook.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to the
Swen virus, all e-mails sent to my actual account will be deleted w/out
reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer
