Finding Autosaved Document

[Heeeelp!]

My daughter had an important Word document on the screen
when she left the computer. Her screensaver is password
protected. While she was gone, my wife came and
encountered the screensaver password, and proceeded to
log off my daughter's Windows xp account using her
administrator priveleges, thereby closing Word without
saving.

Autosave was set to save a backup every 10 minutes but I
can't find a backup. I've searched for keywords, I've
tried Word help. Where can I look in there to see if
there's a backup document?

I am afraid there may be no or little Heelp for you this time. With a
better understanding of how Word works, you may not repeat the same mistake.

When she logged off and closed Word, she should have been prompted to save
the unsaved document, too.
