we recently had the IT folks turn on the router firewalls, and after a
few days of tweaking it, we seem to have set it up so our Exchange 2000
server can communicate with the remote AD servers that we are an Org.
unit of/with.
But, in the past week, a small group of users have begun complaining
that when they try to send or reply to mail, that Outlook will hang
completely, and the only way out is to kill the Outlook session via
Task Manager.
I've increased the Outlook connection timeout to 90 seconds, but that's
not helping. I'm really stumped here, because the only "new" thing I
can see has happened is the firewall.
ideas? suggestions?
