This started soon after XP SP2 installed (Initially it failed so removed and
reloaded), I have rebuilt all software on laptop (Including new user profile)
and still the same. Firewall disabled and patch for Computer browser applied.
I have again removed office 2000 rebuilt mail profile , re run XP sp 2 and
reloaded office 2000. I have started Outlook using free/busy switch.

User has local admin rights. I rebuilt similar model laptop (This is only
one that has been built with XP sp2 as all others were sp1 upgraded to sp2
very recently) and logged in on my account. User is Word power user (most
others occ. users) and so I logged onto this new laptop using my account and
email account and left word up whilst using Outlook 2000 - I got the same
error within 3 hours (All power management disabled).

If I do same on my windows 2000 desktop (SP4 + patches) and use same roleout
of Office (Done using GPO) and do same with my account I get no problems. We
have 6 people using Similar laptop who get no problems but were originally
built using SP1 and not SP2 (Using WSUS).

It looks like some form of bug - I have just enabled Outlook logging, but
this is bosses laptop and it is getting fraught.

Thanks

Mike
