"Fit to page" not working

J

Jay

Have a Gantt chart and am trying to print it on one page.

Have gone into page set-up and seleted 'fit to one page' from the
option.
However, whenever I 'print preview' or print the chart, the data is on
one page but then there are column headings and 4 blank entries under
the headings being displayed on a second page.

Has any one got any idea's on how to fix this?

Hi Jay,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I have no problem like that with my setup. Which version of Project are you
using and have you appled the latest Service Packs?
We need to discover whether your project is at fault, whether it is Project
at fault, or whether it's your PC. Does the symptom occur with other
projects on this PC? Does it occur with this project on other PCs? Does it
occur with other projects on other PCs?

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: <http://www.mvps.org/project/>

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :))

Hi Mike,

I have run office updates but there are none for project 2003. I also
already have Project SP2.
In regards to your questions, the problems occurs on all projects, and
does also on other PC's.

In that case, Jay, I've no idea wat's causing your problem :( Can you send
me a small file that I can have a look at?

Hi Mike,

Just had another look at the file that was causing the problem, and the
problem was still there. However this time I copied and pasted the
contents into a new project file. This has solved the problem.

I believe the project's file had become corrupted.

Thanks for all your help on this though.

Regards

Jay

You're welcome, Jay and thanks for the feedback!

What about all your other projects?

Mike,

Everything seems to be working, once I copied and pasted the contents
to a new project.
Thankfully I only had a few to do.
