fixing hardware problems

Is is true that Microsoft Publisher 2007 can diagnose hardware problems? If
so, what types of messages does it give you if your hardware devices are not
functioning properly?

This is a Windows function. Publisher will show symptoms of bad hardware such as
a printer or video driver, but it will not diagnose the problem. Error messages
are usually in the line of out memory, reference errors etc.
