I was not the OP. And how old is this question? Holy smoke! It was
originally posted back in April of 2005. I suspect the poster is no longer
keeping track of possible solutions.

Time to catch up with current issues.

JoAnn,
If you saved al of the groups except the prices as a PDF, they would not
be
able to move anything within the "Picture" Then, the only thing that
would
be able to be changed, would be the prices since that would be the only
Text
saved as text.

Please let me know if this helps. I know it is a bit unorthodox, but it
is
the best solution I could think of for you.

I just don't think there's a way to do it. If they can edit anything,
they
can edit everything. Assuming they are paying you for the work you're
doing,
it's their product and they can do anything they want to it. Including
screw
it up royally. (I know, that's the pits.) The only thing you can do is to
warn them if they move anything, they could destroy the format and then
they'd be paying you again to correct it. (Then again, that might not be
a
bad thing............)

I have some small menus created for a restaurant. They will be loaded on
their computer and when they need to change prices etc. all I want them
to
be
able to do is change prices and the food entry. I want to be able to
lock
the
position of the groups on the page so they cannot destory the format
etc.
