Flag and text fields

I have been looking at the text and flag fields and they do not seem to be
used consistently across views. IE Text 1 field setup on Gantt view but when
you display the resource view thyere are no values. If this working correctly
???

There are text fields for tasks and text fields for resources.
They have similar names but do not refer to the same data.

For example for a task you might want to add information about the task.
Same for a resource.
But tasks may have 0, 1 or many resources so the resource information does
not apply. Likewise, resources may be assigned to multiple tasks so the
information in a single task field would not apply to that resource.
