Flagged messages - Do not want them to be autoarchived

Is there a way to mark certain messages (for instance -
messages have been marked with a flag for followup) Do not
Archive - when the autoarchive option has been selected?

If you open the message go to File > Properties > checkbox at bottom of
dialogue
