FLAGGING UP IDENTICAL CELLS

bob

I am preparing a sheet where I put a list of jobs on one
column and put a list of names in the next column to match
the specific job, as I am using a large workforce ,is it
possible to be able not to use the same person twice on
two different jobs, thanks very much

Bob,

If your names are in column B :

1) Select B1
2) From the menu bar : Format / Conditional Formatting / In conditionbox
select "Formula is" and in the formula box enter
3) =COUNTIF($B$1:$B$100,B1)>1
4) Select Format ... and color the cells with double names as you want them
to be highligthed.
5) Copy the format down to B100
