This will be an issue with the way you have your flash memory installed.

If your flash memory shows up as a *NORMAL* hard drive you should have no
issues.

If you have an elcheapo USB type key and you do not have Windows XP you will
experience problems.
There are reports even with XP of the elcheapo keys giving problems. I use
*quality* LexarMedia CF memory cards in a USB plug-in type adaptor on many
systems and have no issues.

I would suggest to overcome your problems will be to copy your Publisher
file to the local hard drive, then copy it back after finished working.
Please note, it is most important to close the program completely before
copying the file across.

JLA/P how about you go and learn about these technologies so you can reply
to them with intelligence instead of the dumb obvious.

The girl obviously wants to cart her work around and wants a solution to do
it properly.

And what's wrong with what Jo posted?! If you're so brilliant why is she the
MVP and not you?!

Because JoAnn is a little bum sucker and does not speak the truth!!!

And the truth would be what, exactly?! What she posted was eminently
sensible, and I'm still trying to work out what's so untruthful about it.

And what on earth is that supposed to mean?! Are you implying that Jo only
posts what MS wants her to post?! That every reply she posts has been
scrutinised by someone at MS and okayed before she's allowed to post it?!
Then you apply the same logic to Brian and John, obviously?

For someone who shows occasional flashes of intelligence, you can sure be
incredibly stupid most of the time!

I just wandered into this group, been here five minutes, and it's obvious
this person (°°°MS°Publisher°°°) has some fairly serious issues. Over half
its posts are complaints about other people. Geez.

David,

Okay, from my rung on the low ladder of life:

Up until a week or so ago, you and JoAnn were good friends and though
you teased her, you never said anything negative about her. Then, she
got the MVP title and suddenly, no matter what she posts, you have
something very negative to say about her.

David, are you jealous? No need to respond, because you will deny it,
but those of us who have been around here very long know it is why you
are acting as you are.

David,

So? It's not like the universe doesn't have enough electrons to go
around. She seems like a nice lady, she just got married - give her a
break.

Just because you don't have an MVP after your name doesn't mean you
don't try to help people or (in most cases!) have good advice. Be nice
and invite her "over" for some cheese and wine.

Thank you David for the kind offer. And you would be welcome to try
some of our local varieties. We have several wineries just south of
here that produce a decent beverage.

Careful, Jo, according to Dave, Australia produces the only wine worth
drinking - everything else is, what did you call it, Davey? Oh yes, vinegar.

Blue cheese?
I don't do diet anything. Only real fresh organic grown everything.
No chemicals or nasties in any of our food.
No BSE (Mad Cow Disease) no fire retardent put in the cattle feed or
anything like that here.

David,

In that case, stop by the next time you are in the States and I'll give
you a pint of HB (100 percent natural!) and a lettuce and tomato
sandwich from the garden!

By the way, my best friend is a Vegan so I know all about aspects
concerning that type of diet.

or some jalapenos straight from the all natural/organic gardens here in Tejas del norte
of course that's if the average person from down under can handle them.....

You don't drink beer? No wonder I have to drink more - to keep the per
capita consumption up. What you and your hubby need is a nice pail of
HB. Because of certain laws, the Bored Directors of HB, Inc., DTP. EpS,
ETC., decided to give it away and only charge for shipping. If you want
a pail full, let me know. We might even get Karlos the Kommie to make a
special stop in the US, just for you.

Mike I am far from fanatical and will eat anything and everything,
especially when away.
However, I do eat organic and natural whenever possible. There are so many
organic producers around our area it is not an issue getting high quality
fresh food.
Thankfully so many additives of all kinds have been outlawed now and the
fines are so steep for breaking the laws, that people just don't dare add
illegal additives. No hormones or antibiotics in chicken feed and all that
sort of thing.
We use low fat UHT milk as it is so convenient and now so good.
I am not a vegan.

JL tomatoes are sensational for your prostate. They prevent prostate
cancer. One of the reasons why prostate cancer is quite low in the US due
to the amount of ketchup/tomato sauce you eat.

We have an automatic gas chlorinator on our water. Nothing wrong with a bit
of chlorine in the gut, just don't get it in your lungs.
Hormones here in cattle or dairy cows are completely banned and have been
for a while.
