floating graph in textbox

how can I insert a floating graph in a textbox with wrapped text without
overlapping/hidding the textbox border?

You can't. You cannot insert one "floating" object within another; Word
doesn't support it.

If you're using a recent version of Word you should be able to "float" a
one-cell table, and place a picture over that with textwrap enabled.
