Follow Up Flags disappear offline

So the new BCM is better than before, there are still lots of little issues.
Here is one I am trying to deal with:

I go to a Business contact. I decide I need to follow up tomorrow. So I
set a flag for tomorrow. IT shows up in my To-Do Bar..... So far so good.

If I change my Status: Online to Offline.... I loose all these flags!! If I
reset them to Online, they come back.

My options are set to be a remote | work offline database. I am able to
update contacts and edits offline and online and the sync works (slow, but it
works).

What am I missing. I even made sure that the business contact was assigned
to me.
