Follow Up Flags Not Reminding!

B

Bobby

Hi there,

Any reason why Outlook 2003 would NOT give a user a reminder after the
message has been flagged? If there is a particular reason, is there a way
to correct this or make it so that reminders work regardless of what the
situation may be. I'm not looking for a 3rd party solution here either, if
it does go to that extent.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Bobby

You have to activate a reminder by selecting the reminder icon in calendar
view. Flagging alone does not set a reminder.

The flagged item must be in a default folder to show a reminder. Otherwise,
it will just turn red.

do that in folders that weren't defaults?? Or am I all out of luck herE?E

I don't use flags much but you can check http://www.slovaktech.com for an
add-in that may give you flag reminders in non-default folders.

(sigh!). Milly, thanks for your help I appreciate it.

Ken's add-in is the only method that I know of to get reminders in
non-default folders.
