Font in task pad in calendar view

In Outlook 2003 I have changed the font size to display tasks in the task pad
in calendar view (from 8pt to 10pt). I did this by right clicking on the task
pad, then selecting "Other Settings" and changing column and row font. Now I
want to change it back to 8pt. I repeat the same steps and the font changes
but next time I restart Outlook the font goes back to 10pt. Any thoughts on
how I can change back to 8pt font permanently?
