I have used Matisse ITC and Kristen ITC fonts in my website and everything
looks great on my computer. But when I upload it on the web and view from
the server, everything looks like courrier. The color is ok, but the font is
totally different. the site is www.metaljustice.com.

Thanks. Your right. I went on a different computer and it was all there.
So I've got to pick a different font. Thanks for your help.

Use web safe fonts such as the arial families of fonts - most people are
more likely to have those. Trebuchet MS and Verdana are ok (similar to
Arial), because if people don't have those, I think it will just 'degrade'
to the nearest look alike, or to a default (such as times roman etc).

I think you can actually set a "default" font vs the one you want to use, so
if someone doesn't have your fancy font, then it will default to the one you
choose as the alternate.

If you want to use Matisse ITC & so on, use them in your headings, and
create the headings in your image editor, save as gifs.

I have Matisse ITC, and its pretty hard to read on screen.....at 12pt it is
barely readable so as your main font on a page, it is probably not so good.
As I said, it's probably better to use it as your headings and titles.

You can also use a custom font for very focused messages that can be put
into graphics. This technique is best used in a very limited fashion though
because every graphical element will slow up your page, but sometimes it
can't be helped such as when you want a slogan in a very specific font.

Hope this helps,
