fonts don't change color after saving

Hello,

I've had this problem before but don't remember what the fix is. I inserted
slides from another PPT file to my current one. When I did, on some of the
slides the title text and some of the main text turned black. It was yellow
in the original presentation. I select it all and change it to yellow text,
save the changes, then close the presentation. When I reopen it the text is
black again. It's a big problem since my background is black, but even if it
wasn't black I still need to correct it.

Any thoughts on what to do to correct this? PPT 2002 (10.2623.2625) Windows
XP Home

I would imagine it might be something to do with the color schemes?

Glenn,

I assume by color scheme that the slide master is what you mean. I did go
into slide master and set the font color to yellow for everything but no
luck. The font color is still black in the title and some of the other
content. It's sort of coming back to me now that the last time this happened
it was a very stubborn problem and I had to to rebuild the slides.

Thank you. I never was very good at following directions. ->)

I did not find a scheme like mine, but at least I was able to get all the
fonts visible against a black background.
