Fonts in Publisher

I have ttf installed in my font folder which do not show up when I open
Publisher. The font icons are an O insteadof a T. The fonts are Palatino
Linday Bold and Italic. How can I get them to be used in Publisher? Thanks
for the help. Janet

AFAIK simply having a font in the folder does not mean it is "active" and
thus accessible to applications.

When a font is activated. the activating agent lists it in the Registry,
which is where applications can find out about it.

The O is an open type (usually a TTF with a special wrapper)

Make sure you do not have two fonts with the same name activated. If you
have an OpenType Palatino. make sure you don't have the T1 or TTF version
active as well.
