fonts in v. 2002 printing "softer"

I am trying to print name badges with bar codes for the time clock. The
name badges were created in version 2000 of Publisher and printed fine. Now
that we are upgrading to version 2002, they are printing "softer"--rounded
edges, etc. This makes the bar codes not readable on the time clock. We
are using the Arial font. Is there a way to get them "sharp" again? -

Might be time to upgrade your printer driver... Do all your other documents print
okay?
