Fonts to small to read messages on new laptop

We got a new laptop for a staff member who has poor eye-
site.

We changed the fonts in the desktop properties to use
large fonts but the Folder list, message list and preview
paine fonts did not enlarge.

Can some one tell me how to enlarge the default size of
the fonts for messages in outlook?
