Is it possible to print a document with all the fonts that are in the font
list without having to do it one by one? kind of like an example font sheet.
hope this makes sence.

Yes, there are macros for Word available by searching Google. I think Word
may even have a template for it. (Google for "macro print font list" without
the quotes is a good place to start)

If you're determined to use Publisher, you may have to code your own.

thanks Ed for your speedy reply - it doens;t matter which application it;s on
as they both have the same fonts - i am searching google now...... prob a
silly question but what is a "marco"?

A MACRO (not Marco, he's someone else) is a set of instructions you can give
to a computer to run, normally in applications like Word or Publisher. A
sort of a mini-program run within another program. It automates repetative
tasks (such as typing a sample message in every font on your computer).
